Pinealon (EDR) (Glu-Asp-Arg) #
- [Short Peptides and Telomere Length Regulator Hormone Irisin]
- Activates Telomerase
- Upregulates Irisin
- (PGC-1α/ERRα → FNDC5?)
- Upregulates PPAR-α, PPAR-γ, Hsp72 (by means of irisin afaik)
- Increases NRF2. Should be part of increasing exercise performance
- 3 amino acids. Does not bind to recveptors; it passively diffuses through the cell and nuclear membrane.
- Slightly upregulates some NMDAR. Normalizes pituitary and pineal gland function.
- [Short Peptiudes Stimulate Serotonin Expression in Cells of Brain Cortex]
- Epigenetically modifies Tryptophan Hydroxylase by forming a hydrogen bond leading to increased serotonin synthesis.
- Effect of Pinealon on Learning and Expression of NMDA Receptor Subunit Genes in the Hippocampus of Rats with Experimental Diabetes
- Noname says that Serotoninergics lower OFC activity/dominance over dlPFC.
- Slightly upregulates NR2C and NR2D.

- Has a binding site within GDF11. There’s a ton of good stuff on this including reversing alzheimer’s and reversing the aging phenotype.
- Superior to cortexin in numerous areas, including learning/cognitive enhancement, proliferative activity, and more protective than cortexin in vitro (suppresses p53 to a greater extent). Better regeneration ability in neurodegenerative diseases like AD/huntington’s. Matches cerluten (which is like cere+cortexin and 5kDa instead of 10kDa) in treatment of CNS disorders. Way better than cortexin in neuroprotection/cognition/TBI recovery.
- JC: It is not very neurogenic though; very weak compared to cerebrolysin, cortexin, NSI, etc. I suspect most of pinealons mild neurogenic effect is downstream of PPAR-α/Allopregnanolone and maybe serotonin.
- Brendan: Maybe, but its difficult to say IMO. Pinealon increases proliferation/division markers ki-67 and vimentin significantly more than cortexin in cultured brain cells, but I get that these markers dont definitely mean more neurogenesis. We don’t really have a good comparison of the 2 for neurogenic purposes.

- Completely reverses Alzheimer’s damage—in vitro.

Epigenetic Mechanisms of Peptide-Driven Regulation and Neuroprotective Protein FKBP1b binds to histone H1.3. FKBP1b restores the expression of a vast amount of genes in the opposite direction of aging in the hippocampus. (Things like cytoskeleton, membrane channels, etc.)
- FK506-binding protein 1b/12.6: a key to aging-related hippocampal Ca2+ dysregulation?
- Reversal of Aging-Related Neuronal Ca2+ Dysregulation and Cognitive Impairment by Delivery of a Transgene Encoding FK506-Binding Protein 12.6/1b to the Hippocampus
- FK506-Binding Protein 12.6/1b, a Negative Regulator of [Ca2+], Rescues Memory and Restores Genomic Regulation in the Hippocampus of Aging Rats
- Significant upregulation of PPAR-α and PPAR-γ..
- Pinealon has been given to athletes at way higher doses than we use for a month with complete CT scan on all organs and comprehensive blood work before and after and determined to be safe and improve performance. In fact it’s noteworthy to mention that out of 40 years of testing khavinson peptides and in over 50 million doses given, no adverse side effects have been reported by khavinson
- They did a really comprehensive study on wrestlers, where it improved their performance. And intellectual markers.
- Increased heart rate power curve in athletes; 10-12 BPM lower while exerting the same power output.
- Upregulates Heat Shock Protein A1A (Hsp72) by ~3x in humans with an unspecified dose. Might be therapeutic for ADHD, where there are lower levels of Hsp70: Serum Heat Shock Protein 70 Level in Children with Attention Deficiency Hyperactivity Disorder
- Binds to a Tryptophan Hydroxylase promoter region.
- It reverses (not just ‘ameliorates’) biological/cellular aging in humans, thats proven in a Russian study and through studying its effects on gene expressions. Increases hayflick limit too.
Dosing #
- ~2mg. 1mg/spray from Penchant.
- Matt says anything higher than like 4mg is not necessary. But Blank has taken like >8mg and it taught him how to whistle so who knows
- Gaving has taken 8-14mg at once lol
- Hedonic. Very anxiolytic past a certain point (say 10mg+). Much more clear-headed (and energetic) than cere, which can be quite brainfoggy.
