Myricetin

Myricetin #
- Active compound of Bayberry (Myrica), along with Myricitrin, and a little bit of quercetin
- Bayberry extract: makes you a LOT stronger apparently. It also has something of a headspace. Wonder if it has anything to do with brain lactate? Judas and Amdu say it’s basically the best performance enhancer they’ve ever tried; almost SARM level
- Myricetin Totally changed the game for noname. Anxiolytic, possibly improved visuospatial ability. Significantly helped CFS. Seems to last 16 hours, starting after ~2h.
- I’m not sure if it’s good or not if it optimizes the metabolism for lactic acid… at the end of the day, I’m exercising, but maybe the best way to exercise is minimizing that; and of course I don’t do cardio. But I read BlueTorch saying it decreased the lactic acid response after exercise.

- Doubles endurance.
- Less mental fatigue; more energy
- Myricetin Increases Circulating Adropin Level after Activation of Glucagon-like Peptide 1 (GLP-1) Receptor in Type-1 Diabetic Rats
- Inhibition of catechol-o-methyltransferase (COMT) by myricetin, dihydromyricetin, and myricitrin
- Increases expression, in muscle, of:
- Myricetin: A review of the most recent research
- Serotonin N-Acetlytransferase inhibitor. The flavonoid myricetin reduces nocturnal melatonin levels in the blood through the inhibition of serotonin N-acetyltransferase
- Not the end of the world, since:
Myricetin prevents sleep deprivation-induced cognitive impairment and neuroinflammation in rat brain via regulation of brain-derived neurotropic factor
- Enhanced hippocampal BDNF mRNA expression

Flavonoid Myricetin Modulates GABA(A) Receptor Activity through Activation of Ca(2+) Channels and CaMK-II Pathway
- Opens T- and L-type channels in Parvalbumin neurons in the hypothalamus.
- (Phosphorylates CAMK II Thr286? Something does)
- This was not blocked by Flumazenil.
- Improves cold tolerance.
- Travis claimed it doesn’t bind to the estrogen receptor, for some reason.
- Myricetin: A comprehensive review on its biological potentials
- According to Travis, one of the most powerful polyphenol Glyoxylase inhibitors, second to Baicalein (which is also a LOX inhibitor.) and a potent LOX inhibitor.
- Insulin mimetic, posibly via binding to GLUT4.

Dose #
- HawaiiPharm Liquid extract where 1mL = 300mg of dried herb. Take 250-500-600mg. ~10% oral bioavailability. 1-2.5mL or whatever
