Macrophage #
- Leukocyte. Contains a lot of Lysosomes. I’m a bit confused as for what activates and what releases but basically they’re all categooriezd appropriately regardless
- M1 phenotype is neurotoxic: stimulated by Endotoxin, Interferon-γ, TNF-α, IL-17.
- M2 phenotype is neuroprotective: stimulated by Neurotrophic Factors… like all of them I guess including TGF-β, IGF-1, etc as well as IL-4, IL-13,
- Releases: Arg-1, IGF-1, Ym-1, FIZZ1, IL-10
