Ketamine 110 #

NMDAR non-competitive antagonist (at the dizocilpine site). I believe it has actions on 5-HT2A.

S-Ketamine #

  • 3 to 4-fold greater affinity for the NMDA receptor. 8x more affinity for DAT inhibition.

  • No significant affinity for σ1.

    • Esketamine increases glucose metabolism in the frontal cortex, while arketamine decreases glucose metabolism in the brain
  • Cube Flipper: s-ket is better for studying your own phenomenology/mixing with other things because it’s less “noisy”. it’s just not as good for emotional processing/therapeutic self-work

    • It is more “psychedelic”, it more readily pulls up emotional memories from your system and makes you look at them.
    • S-ketamine fragments your mind and decouples the fragments from each other. Different parts of your personality and cognition feel clearly separate and compete with each other: it becomes very clear that the illusion of a single coherent mind is an illusion
    • *S-ketamine is like letting lots of your personal stories loosely float around in a hyperspace, whereas racemic ketamine is like finding an old VHS record of your childhood, getting surprised that it still plays, and marveling at the fancy tape-reading artifacts. *

Dose #

Do not snort the shit. Bladder damage with chronic pain, liver damage with chronic pain, and it’ll degrade your sense of smell.
