Inhibitor of DAT, SERT, NET. I believe it directly activates NA and 5HT receptors as well.

• [Single cocaine exposure in vivo induces long-term potentiation in dopamine neurons]
  • Observed 5 but not 10 days after. Prevented when NMDAR antagonist is coadministered.
• Combines with Ethanol in the liver to form cocaethylene, which is even more euphoric and cardiotoxic.
• Promotes blood clot formation via increasing plasminogen activator inhibitor activity.
• Commonly cut with levamisole, a cattle dewormer - for no apparent reason. Which is associated with autoimmune disease.
