- Theoretically very yummy if sustainable. It would be needed to be handled with care, and make sure you don’t learn maladaptive behaviors. I want to know how exactly this is different than the (abberrant?) synaptogenesis/sensitization from amphetamine/cocaine and whatnot
- Clean all day Executive Function enhancer
- Bitchy: very reminiscent of methylphenidate, but more targeted in its action; cleaner. More EF enhancement than MPH with less cardiovascular sides and headspace. Main thing is decisionmaking and attention enhancement. Task initiation as well. Pretty much no motor stimulation seen in stims where you feel like you “have to do something”; it’s natural.
- You start to notice it more on day 3 and onwards.
- I have a theory that boosting the cAMP response downstream of D1 - without receptor desensitization - makes it function like a neuroplastic agent, where that specific effect of dopamine on behavioral learning can reinforce itself overtime. Compare to straterra: after a few weeks it is suddenly easier to complete tasks and do boring things. There is no headspace and it occurred purely through some kind of neuroplastic action, because you don’t feel any different.

- LongTermPotentiatio: Super clean, no negative effect on sleep. 50mg oral.
- graatch: I did not find it reinforcing at all, or pleasureable, at least at the small doses I used. It’s not like that … it’s very unlike most things I’ve taken before. It was not reinforcing but what it was is one of the most significant nootropics I’ve taken. Here I should note I have ADHD and D1r seems to be a problem for me. I felt much, much smarter while using it. I became much more organized, clear-headed, and mentally agile. It’s great for text retention and reading speed. But I also felt it was producing abilities in me that I didn’t really have before. Like intuitively understanding certain math things quickly… an “insightful” characteristic to this, i mean comparable in part to the way LSD is “insightful”, how it can generate insights or flashing intuitions that potentially solve problems, cut gordian knots.
