A quart is rich in all B vitamins (besides 12) especially thiamine. Rich in folate, vitamin A, 500mg C, 0.4mg of copper, 2g of potassium, and 100mg of magnesium.
- Also has ~80-100g sugar. and is 450 calories.
- The fiber in the pulp can produce butyrate.
- Riper citrus Fruit are less acidic/damaging to the enamel.
- They’re naturally yellowish-green, but turn orange under cold temperatures. Black specs also indicate higher sugar content. When ‘over’-ripe they also look like a brain or something with some odd texture

- So RIP all the old data I had. I think it takes a good 30 oranges for 2L.
- Wholefoods sells organic navel oranges for $2.39/lb or $1.49/lb on sale. Or $1.34/lb with prime?? Or, something like $1.75/lb in $7 4lb bags.
