- Ruins collagen formation (bloating, wrinkles, eye bags, etc.) Also exists orally.
- Promotes water retention; like pounds.
- Actually a pro-drug for minoxidil sulfate, which requires SULTA1 for conversion, hence the Tretinoin tactic. You can mix them together, like in a shot glass. Use gel.

Usage #
- Once daily is just as effective as twice daily according to haircafe
- Ideally applied 1 day after microneedling according to the studies out there
- Shedding can last a good 3 months tbh. Kevin Mann says it’s not true anything will get any ‘worse than before’ if you were to quit.
- Exponentially increasing effects until ~6%.
- Half-life is 22 hours so skipping a day isn’t that big a deal
- For excessive hair growth in weird locations,

- Micktak uses stuff from Minoxidilmax but throws in 2% rosemary oil, 2% peppermint oil, carnosic acid, 1-2% ketoconazole
- Sirsadalot says peppermint oil is cytotoxic and relies on antioxidants to not kill the scalp
- The propylene glycol in most solutions causes skin drying. But I really don’t know if it absorbs well without it. It’s glycerin-based and also has dimethyl isosorbide to enhance solubility and delivery. Minoxidil doesn’t dissolve in water very well.
