- Stay away from food packaged in plastic containers for long periods of time (esp when in contact with water for a long time) - the amount of microplastics that leech into food from storage containers can only increase over time - it may be better to remove food from the package and immediately pour into a non-plastic container for storage.
- Some brands of almond milk may have an inner coating in tetrapaks made of polyethylene based microplastics) - try to pick almond milk that isn’t packaged in tetrapaks (whole foods almond milk isn’t, for instance)
- Whole Foods Coconut water is in Tetrapak Prisma Aseptic. Almost positive that it’s polyethylene inner coating.
- Harmless harvest is made from >=30% recycled PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) which definitely has microplastics.
- At least tetrapaks have no BPA/BPS: If the container has a number 3 or 7 recycle code — it contains BPA or BPS and should go back on the shelf. Otherwise, the container is BPA- and BPS-free and you’re safe to add what you’re holding to your cart.

- Microplastics are ~2.5 microns on average. 1μm-5mm.
- RO has an average pore size of .0001 micron. High-pressure filters are ~0.1 micron - gravity even lower.

- Whitepill if true: JC says You can get rid of 100% of circulating microplastics with just 4 plasma donations over the course of 2 months versus 10 blood donations over about 2 years it would take.. Plasma is ~3x as faster. You can also do it a lot more often.
