Epitestosterone (Isotestosterone/ 17α-testosterone/androst-4-en-17α-ol-3-one) #

• Antagonist of the Androgen Receptor.

• 5-AR inhibitor, accompanied by the reduction of the inhibitor epiteosterone to epidihydrotestosterone.

• Not even sure how it’s synthesized, but it’s independent of testosterone. ~50% of production is in the testes.

• Accumulates in mammary cyst fluid and in the prostate.

• High in young males, but ~1:1 ratio in adults.
