• Excess Vitamin A inhibits its synthesis by chondrocytes. Derivative of chondrin, which is like an obscure cartilage/connective tissue thing. Sold as a supplement. Chondroitin sulfate is a glycosaminoglycan: along with Dermatan, Keratan, and Hyaluronic Acid.
