- Weight training increases dopamine, BDNF, beta-endorphins, amongst other things. Is also anixolytic, and decreases resting cortisol R R
- Post-workout reduction in appetite is correlated with lactate.
- “This type of exercise promotes DHEA synthesis in younger/healthier people, but in older/sicklier people it has almost entirely pro-Glucocorticoid effects… do not reap health benefits while younger people do. Anything that raises cortisol/DHEA ratio is bad in the long run and “aerobic exercise” has exactly this effects in older people. Haidut lol

An exercise-inducible metabolite that suppresses feeding and obesity (15 June 2022)
- Stimulates production of N-lactoyl-phenylalanine (Lac-Phe). Synthesized in immune cells i.e. macrophages/monocytes.
- Reduces appetite without affecting movement or energ expenditure. Decreases adiposity and improes glucose homeostasis.
- Insulin blood-brain barrier transport and interactions are greater following exercise in mice
