Integral Theory

What I found interesting about works in this field is the semiotics and all that used to represent them. They all look so manic with everything being so colorful and all over the damn place.

The Complexity & Artificial Life Research Concept for Self-Organizing Systems
Old-school HTML. Just peruse around. If you're a sucker for this kind of thing, then have fun. There's a page on spiral dynamics and other such things.

φιλοσοφία

All things are nothing to me. Philosophy/theory can be important in order to contextualize relative mental phenomena into more tangible things for the sake of their material manipulation/augmentation. As such, it's mainly continental philosophy we're tlaking about, and post-structuralism/postmodernism. Capitalism and Schizophrenia (not D&G; Jonah Peretti, founder/CEO of Buzzfeed)

All things are forever changing. Liberation is the only priority. But afterwards, what then? We have to ensure we're on the right track. Evolution is primary. The final frontier is the division between the mind and the material world. You, reading this: if you're relatively young, it's a possibility that you'll live to experience life extension escape velocity, and thus you're essentially immortal and if you don't die in an accident on the way there, you may just live to experience the end of the world as we know it. Just to let you know.
Any wish you could think of is not a matter of if - but when - it will be realized only to be eventually obsoleted. Superintelligence will solve every computation required and swarms of nanomachines will mine the cosmos to design a post-scarcity utopia, and so on: metallic creations will in fact guide Life towards its final destiny.

Thinking about the technicalities on what will happen isn't even necessary if you understand the unceasing, infinite nature of... this. It's just that our physical circumstances merely necessitate computers and robots, and I think the current sociopolitical atmosphere calls for some technoaccelerationsm since the midway stage we find ourselves in is a bit stressful, due to the current capitalist system based on monopolization. Thinking about this backwards leads to primitivism, whose observations can be correct, but whose praxis is misdirected, anti-life, and atheistic. One must understand that technology can be harmonious with "Nature" so long as it's guided by proper morality.
We can't just decide to sing Kumbayah and dance around like the last 65 seconds of Solar Power all day unless we have our needs legit taken care of, by a combination of material prosperity (post-scarcity if we're including everyone, which is the rule) and automation (same thing in a way).
Buddhist cosmology maps to what will be our progression (and that's basically the plot of the book Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny.) Our human realm will apotheosize from the manussa loka into the arupa loka of the highest order. But our stay will not be eternal, even if it takes trillions of years, outrageous fortune, some undiscovered law of physics, or an expansion in every dimension until we reach Eschatology via the creation of a singularity - and the whole thing starts over again.
It's said that us humans are lucky, since we experience a fortunate balance of pleasure and suffering, enough to wish to contemplate the nature of our situation without getting either lost in bliss or being scared shitless. In spite of this, we'll luckily have auto-enlightenment technology after we map the nervous system and develop according prosthesis. This is the single most important field of scientific research (including investigation into its feasibility) followed by AI and life extension.

Spiral Dynamics

Very significant theory. If you don't know what you're looking at then I urge you to come check it out. (Links←)
It basically represents the socio-political and personality changes caused by certain insights into reality for individuals/societies (rather interchangeably). Probably one of the best measures of 'maturity' that there is.
There are many beavioral descriptions at each stage, and as a behavioral thing, you aren't exactly "at" a stage 100% 24/7; stages become 'online' and paradigm shift your understanding of the world, but behaviorally are only at your disposal - added into the set of behaviors from previous stages. The stages come gradually throughout your life, but people can identify the certain watershed moments for when stages get online, because you basically know it when you see it. Though, there might be some short turning points in which there's trauma or revelations, or something like that.

Cook-Greuter, Nine Levels Of Increasing Embrace In Ego Development

Basically the same concept as SD.
Leo Gura has a 3-part series on this paper.
One thing I like is the evolving nth-person perspective. Can that help you in a Keynesian beauty contest?

Orange

I knew orange/Stage 4 came online the first time I experienced ego dissolution on 300μg of LSD when I was 16. The thing about Insight is that it's one thing to watch the music video for Another Brick in the Wall and think "damn, we live in a society" and take another hit off the blunt, but it's another to experience fully the mental state that gives rise to works/ideas like that and understand it viscerally.
I had visions of the lives of other people - imaginary, but definitely based in reality, and it was pathetic. At their funerals, I listened to their friends' bittersweet euphemisms and praise for things completely substanceless.
"___ sure played a mean game of golf!"
What the fuck?
What do you want to be remembered for?
It hit me like a ton of bricks that many people, maybe even the average person, lives their whole life on a conveyor belt, not doing the things they love and achieving greatness. I fancied myself a nonconformist, but I just wanted to have fun and be cool. I started to realize what having a purpose meant. What "wasting time" really meant. What The Sign really meant. I had to apply myself and make an impact, or else my entire life would be lost: "Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, That struts and frets his hour upon the stage, And then is heard no more. It is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing."
Live your precious life harmoniously; align the world with your Will!

Green

For me, I knew this became online when one night I took 500μg of LSD (seeing a pattern here), but then I got bored (yes really) after I watched a few episode of SEL, so then I listened to Žižek videos, and it came to me that all the western philosophical systems are just tools, lenses, ideologies, by which we perceive raw phenomena, and not actual movement towards "the truth", and that for one to think any idea is "more right" than another on the ultimate level - it's just absurd. And in retrospect it's just weird that one can think otherwise. Around this time, I began to take seriously the idea of world peace and of afterlife, which are both quite green. I accepted futurism as our destiny after watching 2001: A Space Odyssey maybe like 6 months before this.
An important milestone. I think this is when one comes to realize what is the basis of AQAL: that theories and models, such as spiral dynamics itself, are never "absolute", but are simply coexisting perspectives on the same underlying phenomena. For example, you've heard people say that Freud's cocaine-induced ramblings on sexuality have been deboonked, because now we understand the brain, or because now psychology has much a much more modern, 'scientifically-accurate' understanding of the mind. This makes no sense: Freud put a perfectly cohesive theory/model together lacking in contradiction, and as such is essentially unfalsifiable - all that changes is how useful it is. The model of spiral dynamics itself is no exception to this concept, however it's very low in noise/multiplicity and keeps things on the abstract level.
